Use your own AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor)

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP app to your Tandmade account, and work on your sites from there. It goes through the same safeguards as the editor, and nothing goes live unless you say so.

If you already work with an AI assistant, you can let it change your sites: "Add our new office to the contact page", "Draft three blog posts about our spring offer", "Which pages get the most visitors?". It doesn't use your Tandmade credits; the app you connect pays for its own model.

Connect

The address is the same for every app:

https://app.tandmade.com/mcp
  • Claude Code — run this in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http tandmade https://app.tandmade.com/mcp
  • claude.ai, ChatGPT, Cursor and others — add a custom connector or MCP server with the address above.

The app opens a Tandmade page where you sign in with your own account and choose:

  1. The workspace it may work in. One connection is one workspace.
  2. What it may do. Reading is always on. Content, comments and code are on by default. Publishing is off by default.

What it can do

  • Read your sites: pages, sections, components, the design system and brand.
  • Change pages and sections, add images, files and fonts.
  • Create and edit collection items, always as drafts.
  • Read and answer comments.
  • Read your analytics.
  • Publish, only if you allowed it, and to the review link unless you ask for the live site.

Safeguards

  • Your design system is enforced. A hard-coded color, a font that isn't yours or a broken file is refused with the reason.
  • Every change is a step in the history, marked with the app's name ("via Claude Code"). People in the editor see the app in the top bar and its changes on the page.
  • Changes land in the editor, not on your live site. Content is saved as drafts.
  • It never publishes on its own.
  • It can't read secrets or form submissions.

Disconnect

Account settings › Connected apps lists every app and what it may do. Disconnect ends its access at once.
